Using a clay sprouter is the ideal way to grow sprouts naturally, as plastic containers can lead to mold growth that is not good for your health.

Our clay sprouters are made from natural clay, which replicates the conditions of the natural germination process in soil. This provides the seeds with the optimal environment for producing healthy, nutrient-rich sprouts.

How to use clay sprouter:

  • Step 1: Soak the Pulses/Legumes overnight or as per their usual soaking hours.
  • Step 2 : Soak the sprouter for 10 mins before use.
  • Step 3: Rinse the legumes in fresh water and strain it.
  • Step 4: Spread the legumes on the upper deck (with holes) and close the lid. (Any excess water will drain through the holes from upper deck to the lower deck.)
  • Step 5: Sprouted legumes will be ready between 12 - 24 hrs.
  • Step 6: Taste the sprouts with fresh salads or cook it and add it to your curries.
  • Note: Legumes/ pulses will sprout depending upon the climatic condition. If it takes longer hours in your region, rinse the pulses in fresh running water after 10 hours, and place it back in the same way. This will aid the sprouting process.

How to make sprouts at home with a clay sprouting pot?

Soak 250g of any kind of pulse/legume/seed that you would like to sprout in a bowl, containing 3.5-4L of water. Drain the pulses/legumes/seeds after 8 hours. Lay a cotton cloth on the top container of the sprouting pot. Place this over the covered container. Spread the pulses/legumes/seeds on the cotton cloth and sprinkle a small amount of water over it. Repeat the process of sprinkling water after 3-5 hours. After 10-12 hours, remove the sprouts and add salt, roasted mustard seeds, ginger, mango, curry leaves according to taste and enjoy the delicious sprouts.
