Pure Hill Honey - Raw, Unprocessed Natural Forest Honey

Our Pure Wild Honey | Hill Honey (Malai Thaen) is harvested from wild hives in the deep forest zones of mountainous regions, where indigenous bees build their nests beneath overhanging rocks and feed on the nectar of wild hill flowers. These bees dwell exclusively in remote hilly terrains, and the honey is sustainably collected by tribal communities, often referred to as honey hunters, who live in close proximity to these untouched forest areas. In places like the Nilgiris, the honey-harvesting season, usually between April and July, is observed as a sacred ritual passed down through generations.

The name Hill Honey (Kombu Thaen) reflects its origin; the nectar of seasonal, medicinal, and wild blossoms found only in high-altitude regions. This honey is never pasteurized, heated, or filtered, preserving all of its natural enzymes, pollen, propolis traces, and active compounds. Rich in iron, potassium, zinc, magnesium, calcium, vitamin C, and B-complex vitamins (B2, B3, B5, B6), it offers nutritional value beyond just sweetness.

Its richness in taste, earthy aroma, and deep golden hue are a testament to the biodiversity of the hills. Unlike commercial honey, it contains no added sugar, artificial flavors, or preservatives. Hill Honey acts as a powerful immunity booster for all age groups, supports energy levels, and is a natural remedy for common ailments.

Whether used as a health tonic, added to recipes, or applied for skincare, Hill Honey delivers purity, tradition, and wellness in every drop, straight from the heart of the hills.
